Overview of the TASER M26c aka TASER M18L

Modeled after the TASER M26 law enforcement model, the TASER M26c is easy to use and includes a laser sight and integrated LED light.

TASER devices are non-lethal energy weapons that utilize compressed nitrogen to shoot two small probes up to 15 feet. These probes are connected to the weapon by high-voltage insulated wire. When the probes make contact with the target, the TASER M26c transmits powerful electrical pulses along the wires and into the body of the target through up to two inches of clothing.

TASER M26c series has almost a 100% effectiveness rating. It combines the injury reducing benefits of traditional stun technology with a quantum leap in stopping power via new Electro-Muscular Disruption (EMD) technology. In police studies, the TASER M26c has a higher instant incapacitation rate than a 9 mm handgun. Utilizing the same technology as the proven law enforcement models, TASER X26C has incredible take down power. ECDs use propelled wires or direct contact to conduct energy to affect the sensory and motor functions of the nervous system. The TASER X26C uses a replaceable cartridge containing compressed nitrogen to deploy two small probes that are attached to the TASER X26C by insulated conductive wires with a maximum length of 15 feet (4.5 meters). The TASER X26C transmits electrical pulses along the wires and into the body affecting the sensory and motor functions of the peripheral nervous system.
