HOW DOES A STUN GUN WORK?
A stun gun is an electrical self defense device
that uses high voltage to stop an attacker. Touching
a person with the prongs on the stun gun quickly
immobilizes the attacker. However, because the
amperage of a stun gun is very low, no serious or
permanent injury is inflicted.
The stun gun is designed to key into the nervous
system. It dumps its energy into the muscles at
a high pulse frequency that makes the muscles work
very rapidly, but not efficiently. This rapid work
cycle depletes blood sugar by converting it to
lactic acid all in just seconds. The resulting
energy loss makes it difficult to move and function.
At the same time, the tiny neurological impulses
that travel throughout the body to direct muscle
movement are interrupted. This causes disorientation
and loss of balance and leaves the attacker in
a passive and confused condition for several minutes.
Still, there is no significant effect on the heart
and other organs.
As a general rule, a one-half second contact can
repel and startle the attacker, giving some pain
and muscle contraction. One to two seconds can
cause muscle spasms and a dazed mental state. Over
three seconds can cause loss of balance and muscle
control, mental confusion and disorientation. Realize
that 3 seconds is quite a long time when in a physical
struggle. Every person is different and will react
differently to the effects of a stun gun. What
may put one person down in 3 seconds could take
5 seconds on another person.
The electrical shock that emits from the stun gun
will not pass from the person being stunned to
the person doing the stunning. The effect is localized
only in the affected area and does not pass through
the body. Even if you or the attacker is wet or
standing in water, you will not get shocked by the stun
gun. Stun Guns are legal in most states. Please Click Here For State Restrictions
Always carry self defense products such as Mace, pepper spray, a stun gun, personal alarms or a Taser.

HOW DOES PEPPER SPRAY
WORK?
Pepper spray normally comes in aerosol type
containers, some no larger than a lipstick. Some are
small enough to attach to a key chain. Most of these
non-lethal sprays can be fired several times and
have a range between 8 and 20 feet, depending on
model and size.
REMEMBER:
The size of the pepper spray unit generally determines its
capacity.
Pepper sprays are not the same as mace or tear
gas sprays.
The popularity of these sprays has grown tremendously
over the last few years due to the increase in
violent crimes. Law abiding citizens are realizing
that they have to depend on devices like this to
protect themselves and their families. There are
around 40 manufacturers of this type of spray,
who offer various sizes, formulations and spray
types. However there is only one chemical composition,
which should be considered for use by the general
public in a self defense situation.
It is estimated that at least 15,000,000 Americans
now carry personal defense sprays, the majority
of which are OC pepper sprays. Please Click Here For State Restrictions
Always carry self defense products such as Mace, pepper spray, a stun gun, personal alarms or a Taser.
WHAT IS PEPPER SPRAY?
The active ingredient in pepper spray is OC or
oleoresin capsicum. The OC is derived from Cayenne
peppers – some of the hottest peppers in
the world. OC is a reddish-orange, oily liquid,
insoluble in water. The OC agent is dispersed by
the aerosol in a number of spray patterns depending
on the model as follows:
Forced Cone – best for most situations.
A fine mist spray at a distance of 8-12 feet with
minimum blow-back on to you. Blow-back can however
be a problem in a mild breeze and uncontrollable
in a strong wind
Broken Stream/Heavy Stream – very effective for hitting
multiple targets (or in the dark), can be fanned
for covering wider area. Provides heaviest blast
of pepper, but cans will empty quicker. Range
normally 15-20 feet, not affected by breezes and
winds as much as fog and cone sprays.
Fogger – very good against multiple attackers
and home use, due to the barrier effect of the
fog. Can however be some blow-back of pepper, which
would contaminate you, especially if used outside
in strong winds. This would still be minimal compared
to the amount the attacker would receive. Most
foggers have a range of 15-20 feet
Foam – very good blow-back protection and
immediate saturation, even in windy conditions.
This thick, sticky foam works instantly on the
attacker.
One of the misconceptions about pepper sprays
is, that the higher the percentage, the hotter
and better it works. In most cases this is not
true, most of the best, fastest incapacitating
sprays in the world are from 2-10%. The lighter
the fluid, the faster it penetrates the membrane.
WHAT WILL PEPPER SPRAY DO TO AN ATTACKER?
When sprayed into someone's eyes and face, it
irritates the skin, eyes and mucous membranes of
the upper respiratory tract (throat). Coughing
and choking may be experienced. It is very
uncomfortable and there is pain associated with it.
The end result is temporary incapacitation, mostly
due to not being able to see, people are too
preoccupied with the blinding and painful experience to
even attempt to do anything violent to you. If properly
contaminated with pepper spray, an attacker will
not be able to open their eyes for between10 minutes
to an hour, allowing you plenty of time to escape
safely.
Body size and weight, asthma, smoking, make little
or no difference to the effectiveness of the spray.
There may however be a small increase in blood
pressure, heart rate and ventilation. Because OC
(oleoresin capsicum – chili peppers) is an
inflammatory agent and not an irritant, it is still
effective on those who feel no pain such as psychotics
and those under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
All OC plants, of which there are many different
types contain a very powerful substance, an alkaloid
called capsaicin. Humans can detect capsaicin even
when diluted to one part in ten million.
If you can imagine a really bad case of facial
sunburn, a burning sensation in the back of your
mouth and VERY hot and sore eyes – you will
have some idea of the effects a pepper spray will
have on your attacker.
Pepper spray (OC) has also proven to be the
best deterrent available against attacking dogs
and the control of wild animals.
IS PEPPER SPRAY LEGAL?
Pepper spray is used by many law enforcement agencies
because it is more effective than tear gas and
Mace™ and because it does not cause direct
permanent harm.
However there are still many areas and countries
where its use by the general public is restricted.
It is also a crime to carry pepper spray on a
commercial aircraft.
You should check for restrictions in your
locality. Please Click Here For State Restrictions
HOW SHOULD PEPPER SPRAYS BE USED?
If you have to use your pepper spray in self defense,
make sure that you have some distance between you
and your attacker(s) if possible (you don't want
the spray to affect you). Aim the spray at the
eyes and facial region of the threat, then release
a 1 to 2 second burst of spray. After you have
done this move away, but watch the attacker(s)
carefully as you do so. By watching the reactions
of your attacker(s) you will be able to tell if
a further burst of spray is required. REMEMBER
spray and move, spray and move. Once the threat
has been incapacitated seek help and call the
police.
SHELF LIFE AND TESTING
Most pepper sprays have a shelf life of 3-4 years
although some expire after two years. The expiry
date should be marked on the canister. Any use
of the spray beyond the expiry date is highly
unadvisable.
YOUR LIFE MAY DEPEND ON IT WORKING PROPERLY
Although the spray will work indefinitely, it
will lose its potency over time.
Sprays should be tested by firing with half second
bursts, both after purchase and then on a regular
basis of every 90 days. Testing must always be
done outside with any wind blowing from behind
you.
REMEMBER all activations will reduce the contents
of the canister; smaller capacity models will therefore
need to be replaced every 9-12 months if these
testing procedures are adhered to. Always check
manufacturers testing and replacement
recommendations.

HOW DOES A TASER
WORK?
The Taser C2 SAFETY: The TASER C2 can stop
a threat up to 15 feet away (4.5 meters), allowing you
a safe distance to protect yourself and family from an
attacker. If a close quarter defense is warranted, the
Taser C2 doubles as a contact stun device to repel someone as
a powerful and unexpected backup capability. TASER
technology has proven itself as a safe and effective
choice of self defense with over 500,000 worldwide
users. Please Click Here For State Restrictions
EFFECTIVE: A Taser C2 can be conveniently discharged
to work anywhere on the body, unlike other conventional
weapons with a specified target area. This makes the
TASER C2 more effective self defense option by making
it easier to stop a threat under an already stressful
situation. TASER devices have been used effectively by
law enforcement encounters by over 10,000 police
agencies in over 4 countries, boasting a 95% effective
rating. TASER technology provides one of the only
non-lethal means of stopping an attacker dead in his
tracks, even if under the influence of drugs or
alcohol.
RESPONSIBILITY: Normal law-abiding citizens carrying a
Taser C2 for self defense purposes should have no
problem acquiring this highly effective tool. However,
to further promote responsible ownership, the TASER C2
will only function after the owner completes a
background check through Taser International to prevent
misuse. There is a $9.95 activation fee. You will be
provided a phone number or web address for this
purpose. As always, purchasers MUST be 18 years old or
older.
Taser C2 cartridges also have a unique serial number
and are equipped with an Anti-Felon Identification
system, which discharges 20-30 serialized paper
confetti tags when deployed. Law enforcement can later
retrieve this confetti from the scene and contact TASER
International to get the name of the owner of the TASER
device, allowing police to track any potential
misuse.
QUESTIONS
1. Are TASER electronic control devices considered
firearms?
No. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms have
stated that TASER ECDs are non-firearms in 1998 and in
1994.
2. What is a Taser C2?
A TASER C2 is a personal safety electronic control
device that can stop threats up to 15 feet away. It
works by launching out two probes up to 15 feet from a
disposable TASER cartridge. The probes deliver a
scientifically designed electric signal that makes
muscles lock up, therefore temporarily incapacitating an
attacker for 30 seconds so that you can get to safety
and call 911.
3. Is a TASER a lethal weapon?
No. In fact, TASER devices have been proven
statistically to dramatically reduce injury rates to
suspects and police officers as well as to increase
personal safety and community security compared to any
other use of force option. However, TASER devices are
not risk free and may cause injuries, primarily from
falls or physical exertions, so their use should be
taken seriously.
4. Are TASER's more dangerous to people with
pacemakers?
Both the human heart and pacemakers are able to
withstand the power of a defibrillator that emits around
300 joules ("joolz") of energy. A TASER emits less than
one joule of energy. TASER devices have been used over
one million times by either TASER International or law
enforcement without causing a single death.
5. Is the Taser C2 the same model that law enforcement
officers use?
No, law enforcement agencies use the TASER X26 and the
ADVANCED TASER M26 that are only available to law
enforcement. Those units are capable of recording data
useful to officers in court. The TASER C2 is a consumer
model that utilizes the same technology and stopping
power in a smaller size.
6. Please describe the required activation background
check process / How do you prevent selling a TASER to
criminals?
The Taser C2 is shipped out inactive and you will need
to pass an ID verification and a felony background check
to get the activation code. TASER International has
taken on the task of screening the purchasers to make
sure convicted felons can't activate a TASER C2. You can
do this over the Internet at Taser.com or if you don't
have a computer, you can do it over the phone
1-888-827-3788 and a trained operator will give you the
code that is unique to your TASER C2 to unlock it. Once
the TASER C2 is unlocked, you will never need to do it
again but there is a $9.95 activation fee that is good
for up to ten units.
7. What are AFID tags?
AFID stands for Anti-Felon Identification tags. Each
cartridge contains 20-30 of small, confetti-like tags
that have the serial number of the TASER cartridge
imprinted on them. If a TASER device is misused, the
police will find these tags and can use them to identify
the owner of the TASER device that was used.
8. Is it legal to carry a TASER?
Yes, but there are some limitations. You cannot carry
any TASER device on an airplane (it must be in your
checked in luggage) or take them into public buildings
like courtrooms or in some schools. If you are over the
age of 18, they can be legally possessed in 43 states.
You currently cannot possess a TASER device in DC, HI,
MA, MI, NJ, NY, RI and WI, as well as a few cities like
Annapolis, Baltimore, Chicago, and Philadelphia. Some
restrictions apply to CT and IL. Please check your local
laws before purchasing or carrying any type of
electronic control device.
9. Are there any restrictions to fly or travel
internationally with a TASER?
When traveling by air, TASER devices need to be placed
in your checked bags and not carried on the plane. Also,
do not try to take it out of the country - please leave
it at home if you are traveling abroad. Please check
with your airline or other carrier for any new
guidelines in advance of traveling.
10. Is using a TASER similar to shooting a gun?
Not exactly. There isn't a kick or recoil with a TASER
device but you will hear a loud pop like a balloon
popping.
11. How many times can I use a cartridge?
The Taser C2 is packaged with one TASER cartridge. As each
TASER cartridge can only be used once, you may want to
consider purchasing additional cartridges.
12. How does the TASER shoot out the probes?
The TASER cartridge uses compressed and inert nitrogen
to launch out the probes. The TASER cartridge is a
one-time use system and delivers the probes and AFID
tags at approximately 100 MPH.
13. What if I miss my target?
The end of the Taser C2 can also act as a powerful
contact stun device, which is a powerful backup
capability.
14. What is the Lifetime Replacement Guarantee?
In the event you use the TASER C2 to defend yourself you
can sit the device down and run to safety. If the TASER
C2 is stolen during your use of it for self-defense,
file a police report and send a copy to TASER
International for a free replacement unit. Your life is
worth more than the cost of a TASER C2.
15. Does the Taser C2 work on animals?
Law enforcement officers have successfully incapacitated
vicious animals with various TASER systems. The TASER
C2 was designed for human use, which is why the probes
are deployed vertically. Most animals bodies are
horizontal to the ground meaning you will have to adjust
the way you hold the device in order to get both probes
to hit your target.
16. Is there a warranty with the Taser C2?
Every TASER C2 comes with a 90-day warranty that ensures
that the TASER C2 is free of defects in workmanship or
materials for 90 days from the point of attempted
activation. Repairs and/or replacement of defective
units during this 90-day warranty period must be
repaired and/or exchanged through the manufacturer,
Taser International. You may also purchase a one or
three year "No Questions Asked" warranty during the
activation process that guarantees TASER International
will repair or replace any TASER C2 that fails to
function for any reason for the length of the
warranty.
17. Always carry self defense products such as Mace, pepper spray, a stun gun, personal alarms or a Taser.
THE TASER X26C
The TASER X26C uses a replaceable TASER cartridge
containing compressed nitrogen to deploy two small
probes that are attached to the TASER X26C by insulated
conductive wires with a maximum length of 15 feet (4.5
meters). The TASER X26C transmits electrical pulses
through the wires and into the body affecting the
sensory and motor functions of the peripheral nervous
system. The energy can penetrate up to two cumulative
inches of clothing, or one inch per probe.
OVERVIEW OF THE TASER X26C
The TASER X26C was modeled after our police TASER X26.
Utilizing the same technology as our proven law
enforcement models, the X26C has incredible take down
power.
The TASER X26C is a software upgradeable, Electronic
Control Device (ECD). ECDs use propelled wires or direct
contact to conduct energy to affect the sensory and
motor functions of the nervous system. The TASER X26C

The Advanced Taser M18 The ADVANCED
TASER® brand non-lethal weapon is a conducted
energy weapon that utilizes compressed nitrogen to
shoot two small probes up to 15 feet. These probes are
connected to the weapon by high-voltage insulated wire.
When the probes make contact with the target, the
ADVANCED TASER M18L or M18 transmits powerful
electrical pulses along the wires and into the body of
the target through up to two inches of clothing.
The Advanced Taser M18 series has almost
100% effectiveness rating. It combines the injury
reducing benefits of traditional stun technology
with a quantum leap in stopping power via new
Electro-Muscular Disruption (EMD) technology. In police
studies, the new Advanced Tazer has a higher instant
incapacitation rate than a 9mm handgun. The Advanced Taser M18 shoots out 2 darts attached to 15 feet of wire.
50,000 volts travels over the wires and over-rides the
central nervous system providing incredible takedown
power.
NEW Electro-Muscular Disruption (EMD) Technology
There are two categories of energy weapons: Stun
weapons and EMD weapons.
STUN WEAPONS: Traditional stun technology weapons
operate in a 7-14 Watt range and interfere with
the communication signals within the nervous system
of the target. These stun systems primarily effect
the sensory nervous system. Like static on the
communication lines between the brain and the body,
stun systems interfere with the human command and
control systems. However, a small percentage of
people with a very high tolerance for electrical
stimulation can fight through the effect of these
7-14 Watt systems. The AIR TAZER 34000 series is
a stun weapon using the same settings used by law
enforcement for over 20 years.
EMD WEAPONS: EMD weapons use a more powerful 18
to 26 Watt electrical signal to completely override
the central nervous system and directly control
the skeletal muscles. This EMD effect causes an
uncontrollable contraction of the muscle tissue,
allowing the M-Series to physically debilitate
a target regardless of pain tolerance or mental
focus. The Advanced Taser M18 is an EMD weapon
specifically designed to stop even the most
elite, aggressive, focused combatants. Rather than
simply interfering with communication between the
brain and muscles, the ADVANCED TAZER EMD systems
directly tell the muscles what to do: contract
until the target is in the fetal position on the
ground. The ADVANCED TASER M18L or M18 provides for
maximum safety for both the officer and the subject by
bringing dangerous situations quickly under control
before force escalates to lethal levels.
QUESTIONS
1. HOW DOES THE ADVANCED TASER M18 WORK?
Upon firing, compressed nitrogen projects two,
ADVANCED TAZER probes 15 feet at a speed of 180
feet per second. The probes are connected by
thin insulated wire back to the M18. An electrical
signal transmits throughout the region where
the probes make contact with the body or clothing.
The result is an instant loss of the attacker’s
neuromuscular control and any ability to perform
coordinated action. ADVANCED TAZER uses an automatic
timing mechanism to apply the electric charge
for 5 seconds. Please Click Here For State Restrictions
2. HOW CAN THE ADVANCED TASER M18l or M18 BE SO
EFFECTIVE YET NON-INJURIOUS?
The ADVANCED TASER does not depend upon impact
or body penetration to achieve its effect. Its
pulsating electrical output interferes with
communication between the brain and the muscular
system, resulting in loss of control. However, the
ADVANCED TAZER M18L or M18 is non-destructive to
nerves, muscles and other body elements. It simply
affects them in their natural mode. More importantly,
no deaths have ever been directly attributed to the
TASER.
3. DOES THE TASER AFFECT THE HEART OR A CARDIAC
PACEMAKER?
The ADVANCED TASER’s output is well below
the level established as “safe” by
the federal government in approving such devices
as the electrified cattle fence. In a medical study,
Dr. Robert Stratbucker tested the M26 at the University
of Missouri and confirmed that the T-Wave does
not interrupt the heartbeat or damage a pacemaker.
Any modern pacemaker is designed to withstand
electrical
defibrillator pulses that are hundreds of times
stronger than the ADVANCED TASER’s output.
The Advanced Taser M18 has a current of 1.76 Joules which is well
below the 10-50 joule threshold above which cardiac
ventricular fibrillation can occur.
4. ISN’T HIGH VOLTAGE LETHAL?
High voltage, in itself, is not dangerous. One
can receive a 25,000-volt shock of static electricity
from a doorknob on a dry day without harm. The
physiological effect of electrical shock is
determined
by: the current, its duration, and the power
source that produces the shock. The typical household
current of 110 volts is dangerous because it
can pump many amperes of current throughout the
body indefinitely. By contrast, the ADVANCED
TASER power supply consists of 8 AA alkaline
1.5-Volt batteries capable of supplying 18 Watts
of electrical power for a few seconds.
5. WILL THE TASER CAUSE ELECTROCUTION?
No. The output is metered by the electronics and
the electrical energy in each pulse is always
the same, regardless of the target condition.
The electrical output will not be transferred
from one person to another even if they touch.
Over 1,000 individuals have personally tested
the Advanced Taser M18.
6. WHAT ARE THE AFTER EFFECTS OF THE ADVANCED
TASER? A person hit with an ADVANCED TASER will
feel dazed for several seconds. Recovery is fast and
the effects stop the very instant that the M18 shuts
off. Some will experience critical response amnesia
and others will experience tingling sensations
afterwards. The pulsating electrical output causes
involuntary muscle contractions and a resulting
sense of vertigo. It can momentarily stun or
render immobilized. Yet, the Advanced Taser M18 has low electrical amperage and short duration of
pulsating current, ensures a non-lethal charge.
Moreover, it does not cause permanent damage
or long-term aftereffects to muscles, nerves
or other body functions. A January 1987 Annals
of Emergency Medicine study reported that similar
TAZER technology leaves no long term injuries
compared with 50% long term injuries for gun
shot injuries.
7. MUST THE PROBES PENETRATE THE BODY TO BE
EFFECTIVE?
No. The electrical current will “jump” up
to two inches as long as both probes are attached
to clothing or skin. At most, only the 3/8-inch
needlepoint will penetrate the skin. They have
less energy than a spring propelled BB. Both probes
need to contact the body or else contact clothing
and be within two inches of the body to stop an
attacker.
8. WHAT IF THE PROBES MISS?
The ADVANCED TASER can work if one probe hits a
human and the second falls on grass or dirt as
the power grounds. However, the results depreciate
substantially if the second probe lands on concrete,
asphalt or not all on wood floors. Otherwise,
the M18 can be used in a touch-stun mode. The
user is thus provided with two backups. A secondary
Air Cartridge is available that holds a backup
cartridge below the ADVANCED TASER’s handgrip.
A final backup if the probes miss the target
is the touch stun feature. Should the user miss
or engage a second attacker, the Advanced Taser M18
can be applied directly to the target and it will
work like a powerful contact stun device.
9. CAN THE ADVANCED TASER CAUSE FIRE?
The ADVANCED TASER will not ignite standard solids
or even black gunpowder. However, the spark from
an ADVANCED TASER can ignite some flammable liquids,
vapors, meth labs or sensitive explosives. The
ADVANCED TASER should not be used anywhere that
cigarettes are forbidden for fire safety reasons.
The Advanced Taser M18 should never be used on anyone
who has been sprayed with an alcohol based chemical
spray – including some alcohol based pepper
sprays —, which could ignite.
10. WHAT ABOUT THE POTENTIAL OF EYE INJURY FROM
THE ADVANCED TASER?
The ADVANCED TASER should always be aimed at the
attacker’s chest or back, since both probes
need to hit some part of the body to be effective.
The torso provides the largest surface area to
hit. The ADVANCED TASER should never be aimed toward
an attacker’s face. This is a serious
self defense
device and should be treated as such. Moreover,
putting any sharp object into an eye is potentially
dangerous to the cornea.
11. HOW WILL THE ADVANCED TASER PREVENT CRIMINAL
USE?
Our mission is to ensure technology can play a
positive role in our society. To that end, an
Anti-Felon Identification (AFID) system is used so
criminal use of the Advanced Taser M18 can be traced from
evidence dispersed by the device itself to provide the
exact identification of the Air Cartridge purchaser.
No other self protection device in the world —
guns, chemical and pepper sprays, touch-stun devices
or batons — can be traced from evidence at
the scene of the crime directly to the registration
of the user.
12. WILL THE PROBES STICK TO BULLETPROOF VESTS?
Some bulletproof vests are made specifically to
stop only bullets and gun shot projectiles —
not
knives or sharp devices such as syringe needles.
Should the probes attach to clothing in front
of the soft body armor, the T-Wave can penetrate
some of these vests with near full-effect. Although
most bulletproof vests are made to stop bullets,
the vests are porous and will not stop the flow
of electrons. A bulletproof jacket with metal
shock plates can cause the probes to bounce off
the target. However, some companies have reported
that there is soft body armor that has filled
the porous material with rubber and/or plastics,
which may prevent the T-Wave from penetrating
the body armor. Twaron is difficult for the
TASER-Wave to pass through in bulk.
13. WHAT IS THE BEST-SHOT AT MAXIMUM RANGE?
As long as the spread of the probes is at least
four inches, the ADVANCED TASER will be extremely
effective. To ensure that the spread is greater
than four inches, the Advanced Taser M18 should be
fired at a target several feet away. The optimum
shot is from seven to ten feet away from the
target to achieve maximum effect using a 15-foot
cartridge.
14. DOES TEMPERATURE HAVE A DETRIMENTAL EFFECT
ON THE ADVANCED TASER?
Yes. The weakness to the system is not the ADVANCED
TASER. The batteries limit the effectiveness in
cold and extremely hot temperatures. Alkaline batteries
perform poorly at freezing temperatures. However,
Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) rechargeable batteries
can be substituted in a freezing climate, as their
performances are better suited in colder climates.
The heat issue is only an issue if the ADVANCED
TASER were left sitting in the sun, once again
adversely affecting the batteries. As for the Air
Cartridge, it utilizes compressed nitrogen (an
inert gas). The Advanced Taser M18 compressed air capsules
have successfully held their charges at temperatures
of minus 20º F and up to 160º F. Moreover,
altitude will not adversely affect the firing of
an ADVANCED TASER. In addition, the temperature
will not affect the T-Wave. However, as with any
product containing polycarbonates and other
thermoplastics, the ADVANCED TASER and Air Cartridges
should never be left in direct sunlight.
Always carry self defense products such as Mace, pepper spray, a stun gun, personal alarms or a Taser.

HOW DO I USE MY
KUBOTON?
Kubotons are designed to be used against
bony surfaces, soft tissue and nerve points. It
is effective because of the temporary paralysis
or extreme pain it causes. Even for those without
experience in a martial art, the Kuboton provides
an inexpensive and easily learned method of
self defense.
The kuboton increases the power of any strike.
It is not necessary to waste time or miss an
opportunity by trying to be overly precise. It's better
to react naturally. Good targets are the groin, stomach,
solar plexus, throat, the arm, the shin, hipbone,
collarbone, ankle, and kneecap. A sharp strike
to a bony part of the body will encourage an assailant
to stop his attack. A harder, well-placed blow
can easily break bones--especially if clothing
does not hinder the force of the blow.
The most basic applications involve striking or
poking vulnerable areas of the body with the kuboton.
Generally speaking, swinging strikes work better
against bony surfaces while fleshy areas are more
susceptible to pokes and jabs with the ends of
the Kuboton. With this concept in mind, a person
avoids the confusion and frustration of trying
to remember specific strikes for specific targets.
Instead, one simply remembers to strike bones and
poke soft tissue and pressure points.
There is no wrong strike. Just hit as hard as
you can the closest body part. The strike does
not have to be perfect. Since nerves are close
to the surface of most bony parts, even a glancing
blow will inflict enough pain to make your assailant
think twice about continuing his attack.
You can also use the keys that you have attached
to the kuboton. You can hold the Kuboton and swing
the keys. The Kuboton is most effective when you
hit the face.
The Kuboton is legal and entirely unregulated.
To most people, the Kuboton is little more than
a nondescript key ring. While the Kuboton is not
particularly intimidating, it remains an effective
self defense instrument. It really can save your
life.
Always carry self defense products such as Mace, pepper spray, a stun gun, personal alarms or a Taser.

KEEP THOSE UNFRIENDLY DOGS OUT
OF YOUR WAY!
THE ULTRASONIC DOG CHASER is the most humane
and safe way to deter unfriendly dogs. It can also
function as a dog-training device by pressing the
power button in conjunction with the verbal or
hand command.
The ultrasonic dog chaser emits a frequency
ranged from 20,000 Hz to 25,000 Hz internally,
which is hardly audible by humans but can be heard
by dogs or cats. The dog repeller may harmlessly
deter the approach of a dog or cat when properly
used. The device will project these ultrasonic
waves as you continuously press the power button
and directly point the dog repeller toward the
approaching unfriendly dog. The ultrasonic waves
emitted from the dog repeller will discomfort the
dogs and make them get away. This ultrasonic dog chaser will
help the user establish a safe zone between the
user and the unfriendly dog.
A built-in LED indicator will light when the power
button is depressed. When the LED does not light
or is not as bright, it is time to replace the
battery.

HOW DOES DOG REPELLENT
SPRAY WORK?
Dog Repellent Spray contains approximately 0.75
fluid ounces of pepper-based solution. This is
enough for approximately 10 one-second bursts.
If you intend to rely upon your Muzzle unit
as a defense, you should test the functioning of
your unit periodically by discharging one or two
bursts outdoors in a safe area away from all persons
and animals in the vicinity. Take care that you
do not exhaust the contents of the unit you intend
to rely upon.
Your best protection is to avoid potentially dangerous
situations if you can. Always be aware of your
environment and any dogs that may be in the
vicinity.
When you sense that you are in a potentially dangerous
situation, carry your Muzzle unit in your hand.
Slip your thumb under the safety cover and be ready
to spray the canine by pressing down on the red
button with your thumb.
Notice how the Muzzle unit is shaped so that
you can tell by the feel how it should be held.
The safety cover will prevent access to the red
button if you hold the unit backward. The shape
of your Muzzle unit will enable you to know,
even in the dark or in a stressful situation, when
the device is properly oriented and ready for use.
If you have to use your Muzzle unit, point and
spray short bursts at the nose, mouth, and eyes
of the aggressive dog, allowing you an opportunity
to move away from the area and out of harm's way.
The Muzzle unit is designed to be actuated in
short 1/2 second busts aimed at the dog's mouth.
When actuated, a stream of the pepper-based formulation
will be released from the unit for a distance of
approximately 10-12 feet (more or less, depending
upon the pressure in the unit and wind conditions).
Avoid spraying directly into the wind. Use the
unit when it is in the upright position, otherwise
it may not function properly then or afterwards.
Muzzle is an organic pepper-based compound,
which causes extreme irritation if applied to a
dog's nose, eyes, or mouth. The effects begin within
a few seconds of contact causing a dog to cower
and retreat. It is normal for most dogs to roll
on the ground and rub their eyes in an attempt
to remove the spray from the facial area. The painful,
irritating effects usually wear off within minutes,
leaving the dog unharmed.
Always carry self defense products such as Mace, pepper spray, a stun gun, personal alarms or a Taser.
