Me2 Stun Gun
The Me Too movement or #MeToo movement, is a movement against sexual harassment and sexual assault. In 2006, Tarana Burke founded the Me Too movement and began using the phrase "Me Too" to raise awareness of the pervasiveness of sexual abuse and assault in society. The phrase "Me Too" developed into a broader movement following the 2017 use of #MeToo as a hashtag following the Harvey Weinstein sexual abuse allegations.
The idea for the hashtag started with singer/actress Alyssa Milano, as a means of addressing the prevalence of sexual assault and harassment in America. “If all the women who have been sexually harassed or assaulted wrote 'Me too' as a status, we might give people a sense of the magnitude of the problem,” she wrote.
Streetwise, the manufacturer of the Me2 Stun Gun donates a portion of the proceeds of the sale of these units to help organizations that support and protect women.
